It was amazing. I had no idea that a size 10 would actually be about size 8 1/2. Talk about misleading and poorly done shoemaking! I was simply floored. My husband, who takes a 9 1/2 – 10 size shoe literally COULD NOT GET HIS FEET INTO THESE! Not only that, but they are hard, rigid, not soft like slippers should be. All in all, they are simply awful.

I too found these smaller than expected – and it seems a change in Ugg manufacturing because my feet size haven’t changed. The pair of Ugg Ascot that I wanted to replace is 9.5 EEE. I had to order a 10 EEE to get the right length, and they are still too narrow.

This is a very comfortable shoe for me and my wide foot. Easy to wear, warm, and firm. I am getting ready to buy my next pair.
However, there is a design flaw, and I would like to see this corrected. At the tip of the shoe, some stitching is done during the manufacturing where the tip of the rubber sole is stitched to the leather at the tip of the shoe. This is where each pair I have ever had has torn. I end up with a large inlet for air and junk. I believe this could be corrected with either a longer rubber soul stitched together with the top piece or some sort of glue. (See the attached pictures.)

There are great and comfortable and would buy again. Only issue was color says China tea and they look like a great dark brown in pics and they are basically black. They only have 2 colors- this one and black and to me these are black also and not dark brown like in the pics.

I have been buying and wearing the ascot for years. It is a wonderful slipper that I can wear indoors and out (at slipper appropriate locations). This is the first time I purchased the wide 10 instead of the regular 10 and the fit is much better for me.
