They replaced the old Mel with ”neumel”. they are made in China, not Australia and the quality is crap. I sent back 2 pairs. shame on Uggs for even putting this product out on the market. Where’s your pride?

I totally agree with the top critical review. I’ve been wearing Uggs for 20 years and the drop in quality difference the last few years is incredible. I sent a pair back directly to the Uggs company (they lasted 1 week! My original pair from 20 years ago are still fantastic). They replaced them with an identical pair. I wore them out once to shovel snow and my socks were water-logged in 2 minutes, I couldn’t believe it. You can see wear now on the soles of Uggs in a week, in a month they looked ancient, again the soles on my originals are still great. I sent back the second pair and the company never even responded, so I’m out money for a pair I had a month. And I’ve probably bought a dozen pair of Uggs. That’s how they treat a loyal customer. Bought these for my teenage son for Christmas. He absolutely loved them! We sprayed the protector to prevent stains. I also had to stress to him they couldn’t be worn in snow or rainy weather. Now I feel like getting myself a pair after trying them on. Very comfy!

I like these shoes a lot but I am a 9 in women’s and I ordered a 7 in men’s (what I usually wear in men’s). I just felt like they were a little snug. Maybe when I wear them more they won’t be so tight but I honestly would size up.

To all the people who are wondering what size to get: size down. I usually wear 10.5 but 11 was too big because the leather and shearling stretches. When you first get it it might be tight but it will loosen.

Owning a couple of leather Neulands, this suede version fits/feels like my leather ones but with a bit ‘dressier’ look. Whether for date night, at the office or just for the fun of it, this was a nice addition to my footwear choices. (Buying these on sale and with UGG rewards made this purchase all the more sweeter.)
